Community Patrols offers world-class security solutions at affordable prices for our clients, because quite frankly, we know what it’s like to need security.

Our firm was born out of a collaboration of sharp business minds, and superior security and law enforcement experts. Our team has seen the ravages on businesses, both small and large, needing security solutions but unable to find effective services.

Because our leadership team has been immersed in what we call “the culture of security” for over twenty five years, we understand the needs of our clients and exactly what it takes to solve their problems in a meaningful and effective way.

Our leadership team consists of prior business owners who were in need of security, in conjunction with professionals who have a deep knowledge of law enforcement and security practices in various parts of the country. This combination has helped us identify the finest security solutions for our clients with the special perspective of a client and vendor too.

We don’t just offer “template security solutions” for our clients, which is commonly done by security companies throughout the nation and especially in metro Atlanta. We see this the most after taking over security contracts from firms who failed to address the specific needs of a client effectively. As a result of these “template solutions,” we often see things like:

  • Recommending services that aren’t needed
  • Billing for services that aren’t needed
  • A failure to conduct preliminary security assessments
  • A failure to conduct ongoing assessments of current protocols in order to recommend modifications to an existing program
  • A gross failure in consistent communication between the management team and the client
  • Poor quality control

One of the prominent things that we observed was that the so called “security solution” was more of a burden in upkeep and management than worth its value in services.

Solomon Carter – Managing Partner of Community Patrols

Solomon Carter has been an integral part of the EpiCity professional services team since 2002. Today he is excited to be managing partner of the new Community Patrols division of the company.

During his fourteen years with the company Solomon has managed the courtesy and patrol officers engaged by EpiCity. In this role he had a tremendous influence on the ability of the organization to deliver on its commitment to provide comfortable, attractive and affordable places to live and work for its customers. “I’m excited to begin this new endeavor. We’ve been hiring third party resources for years and did not have the span of control that we really needed. With Community Patrols, a Georgia licensed Private Detectives & Security Agency, we’re able to deliver directly the professional services and results our customers and clients deserve and expect,” said Carter. “We’ve combined our expertise in law enforcement, security and real estate to create Community Patrols, serving our properties as well as others throughout greater metropolitan Atlanta.”

Carter’s prior experience includes multiple years in law enforcement. He has served as a commanding officer of Internal Affairs, an aviation division, the No Neighborhood Left Behind Initiative, and has worked in a myriad of law enforcement assignments in his home state of New York as well as Georgia, where he has lived since 2001.

When Carter is not working with EpiCity, he is serving his ministry in Haiti. As CEO of All Power in His Hands Haitian Christian Mission, he delivers medical aid and food to Haiti three times each year. “This is a direct impact ministry, where we feed the people of Haiti through a comprehensive rice and beans initiative.” said Carter. “I am thrilled that EpiCity is a meaningful partner in this endeavor, as it serves the local community in so many ways, and also has a global impact with this mission.”
